Faisal Ghani, better known as Faisal, is the bassist of THE FHASE and has been active in music since 2007. His interest in music started through spending time with friends from his hometown and joining them for jamming sessions. He was also influenced by songs recommended by his older brother, which encouraged him to explore music further.

Faisal started learning the guitar at the age of 16, with Muse being one of his earliest musical influences. His musical taste was later shaped by bands such as Radiohead and Oasis, while Britpop became one of the genres that influenced his overall musical style. As a bassist, Chris Wolstenholme of Muse is one of the musicians who has inspired him.

His first live performance was in 2008 at a wedding, where he performed as part of a live band with friends from his hometown. Since then, Faisal has gained around 17 years of experience performing live at various events and venues. His musical journey has also included involvement with several bands and projects, including Kugiran Larut Malam, No Identity and Empress Brigade.

Some of his notable experiences include participating in the RTM Battle of the Band and performing at Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya. One of his most memorable recent performances was at Animangaki 2026, where he performed on a bigger stage in front of a large crowd.

With THE FHASE, Faisal hopes to see more people in Malaysia discover and listen to the band's music. He wants listeners to connect with the songs and appreciate the emotions behind them. One of his dream collaborations would be to share the stage with Hujan, but ultimately, his goal is simple—to create music that people can listen to, enjoy and truly feel.
