Effendy Adam, better known as Endy, is the founder and one of the pioneers behind Daun Band and THE FHASE. He serves as the songwriter, composer and guitarist of THE FHASE, and has been active in music since 2018.

His interest in music started at the age of 11 when he picked up his first instrument, a gitar kapok. Inspired by the music around him, he began learning to play and was influenced by bands such as Kristal. One of the first songs he learned was "Hanya Dalam Lagu" by Handy Black.

Endy began performing publicly in 2018 with Tompinz Band at UTHM. The band later won a busking battle, giving him valuable experience as a live musician.

In 2022, Endy founded Daun Band, where he became one of the main creative forces behind the band's original music. He was involved in the creation of "Bukalah Hatimu", contributing as a guitarist, lyricist, composer, arranger and producer.

In 2025, Daun Band evolved into THE FHASE, marking a new chapter in his musical journey. As the band's founder, Endy continues to shape its sound and creative direction while contributing as a guitarist, songwriter, composer, arranger and producer.

He was also heavily involved in the production of THE FHASE's original single "Andai", from songwriting and composition to arrangement, guitar and production. He also took part in the studio recording at Angguk in 2025 and the production of the song's music video.

Endy's musical style is mainly influenced by Pop Rock. His musical influences include Projector, Drama, Cherpen and Akim & The Majistret, while guitarists such as Andra Ramadhan and Onci from Ungu have influenced his approach to guitar playing and sound. Andra & The Backbone and Ungu are among his favourite artists.

Throughout his musical journey, Endy has gained experience through live performances, collaborations and various projects. Some of his notable experiences include being featured on KLTV, performing in projects involving MMD2 and NeoGendang, and collaborating with MAP.

His goal is to continue creating music, release an album and bring THE FHASE to a wider audience. He hopes to see the band become recognised in the Malaysian music scene and eventually perform on major stages, including Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL).
